Great Looking Bike. And it is nice to see you replaced the front tire with one that actually matches the rear.
And Cameron is right,It has all the cool 1970`s stuff.
My favorite being the chrome tip fork. I don`t know that I would have chosen sea-foam cork-tape. But that is really unimportant. It is a very cool bike!

Sweet Bike! The lugs look great. I`m gonna have to try that some time. The copper was an excellent choice. I would sure like to get a look at the Univega “Gran Rally” as well.

I had this bike as a 12 yr old. Was this thing fast! I could leave my best friend in the dust and he was a much better cycler and in better shape. Sadly enough it was stolen right from my carport in Landrum, SC. Like I lost a friend. As a replacement my family got me a Murray 1984 Olympics….it wasn’t even close to being what my Adagio was. Ever want to sell an adagio, let me know!

Nice bike. A mate had one of those in the early 80s – was a lot faster than the grifter I had at the time!

The BB will be a standard 68mm shell. I recently fitted a replacement cartridge BB to my old Falcon 10 speed that I was converting to a fixie and it screwed straight in with no problems. I used a Shimano UN54.

Good luck on those cobbled Edinburgh streets – the last time I cycled down the Royal Mile I’m sure I lost a few fillings!
