		<description>Just got that bike Jan 2012, in roughly that same condition. After much work (12 hrs just for the chain) I got it running. Now its painted gloss black with gloss red rims, I cut the pink handlebar rubber off, and am in the process of making a red vinyl seat cover. Excellent bike overall.</description>

		<description> ryan thanks for putting your 1977 schwinn mixie on the old ten speed gallery . nice job of bring this schwinn back to life  . i am the owner of a 1981 schwinn le tour . it was org a 12 speed  it now has 14 gears . the org paint was the frost silver -  it now has a new paint job the color is midnight blue met with clear coat . i keep the org  sj- 6 rims on the bike  also the org gear shifters  were replaced with a set of  - nos -  shifters from a 1971 schwinn varsity  they are the shifters with the -s-  at the top tip of the shifter  also i had the decal&#039;s remade  . this schwinn le tour ride&#039;s as smoth as it did 30 yrs ago .

Love your old Fuji--in the seldom seen and not so popular yellow. (why, I don&#039;t know....I love yellow!)  Old yellow Schwinn&#039;s I have seen many, but for some strange reason I rarely come across yellow bikes of any other make. Maybe, it&#039;s just me.
