Monday Market: For Sale Wyatt B’s Raleigh Competition GS

Here is a special Monday Market – MLK Edition.  This is Wyatt B’s Raleigh Competition GS and he’s looking for new home. Details below.

For sale is a Raleigh Competition GS with all original parts except for the saddle. I have attached a picture of the original brochure that lists the components. There are Look clipless pedals on the bike in the pictures, but I am selling the bike with the original pedals. The frame is for a taller rider and has a 35″ stand over height.

    This is nice bike and it’s a really good deal.

      Yeah, it is a great bike, but I just don’t ride it anymore. I did actually ride it from Tampa to Tallahasse (250 mi) last year with my brother who was on a full carbon Orbea and the Raleigh paced just fine. I hate to see it go, but would love to see someone use it.

    It’s a very good deal.

    If it were half the price and within a hundred miles of me, I’d buy it. As it is, I bet you’ll find someone with enough class and cash to get your asking price or darn close to it. Good luck with the sale.

    You wouldn’t be willing to ship such a fine machine, would you?

    I picked up an ’83 Super Course locally and the owner wanted $250 for it (got it for $150). I bet you could hock that on Ebay for quite more than what you’re asking.
