Trilabracing's Girlfriend's Ten Speed

This is an old Browning bike. It’s a ten speed. I’m not sure it’s history. I picked it up at the shop yesterday. It fits Lauren, so I’m going to convert it. We’ll probably make it with a flip/flop rear hub. Any ideas? She wants everything to be pink, blah blah blah.

    If this bike is a truly crappy ten speed remove the derailleurs and cables and go with a good old Sturmey Archer 3 speed hub with a trigger flick shift. You will appreciate at least three gears if you have a headwind or hills to climb on the way back from the grocery store and the Pub. Take a survey how many gears does the average ten speed rider use anyway. Two rarely three I say.

    I would fix gear something else…but you are not me..thats OK it makes Mine worth a tiny bit more..LOL..

    Now be for I start a war…I love to restore bikes to original when you can….But if they are to shot well do what you want..
