• Andrew’s 1990s Cannondale R3

Andrew in Chicago should be proud to know that his OTS is the first Cannondale entered in the Gallery. This would also make it the first aluminum bike(if you do not count these). The firsts do not end there; Andrew also has the dubious distinction of sending in the first spoke card clad OTS. I suppose that I can overlook the spoke card since he is also sporting the ugliest saddle I have seen since this one.

    Hey.
I picked up this Cannondale R3 about two years ago from a guy who used it for triathlons in the 90s. The parts are mostly dated 105 stuffs, except for the random frontwheel, Suntour (I think?) Blaze Cranks, Look Keo Pedals, Nashbar 7075 Road Bars, and a GT Dropnose Seat. I wanted to get a fixed gear for awhile, but then I noticed I was faster than all my friends riding them. They hate it. This bike makes blasting through Chicago traffic a bit less terrifying and a lot more fun. Please disregard the image in my spokes, that is for the folks on BMXBoard. Thanks for the awesome site!
