    Bill B.
Love your old Fuji–in the seldom seen and not so popular yellow. (why, I don’t know….I love yellow!) Old yellow Schwinn’s I have seen many, but for some strange reason I rarely come across yellow bikes of any other make. Maybe, it’s just me.
A nice bike with a lot of sentimental value…priceless.

Bill Lovely Fuji, I really enjoy seeing well used, well maintained and well loved old ten speeds, your looks like it has many more years of service left.

I HAVE A FETISH FOR THE OLD FUJIS AS WELL AS THE NISHIKI’S
& ANY TOURING BIKE OF THAT ERA. THEY WERE SIMPLE HIGHLY FUNCTIONAL & DESIRABLE. GRADUATED IN 78 & SPENT THE HOLE SUMMER RIDING BACK & FORTH TO THE LOCAL SWIMMING HOLE , CALLED FIRST FALLS. 2-1/2 MILES FROM HOME IT’S LIKE IT WAS YESTERDAY. ATTACHED YOU WILL FIND A FUJI CATALOG PAGE OF YOUR TIME MACHINE THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES

Bill, I have a silver one (12 speed), I thought mine was an 80s bike but when I see yours, everything looks the same, and I noticed the 80s one’s have the gears on bottom tube unlike ours–neck/stem area. I got mine for free and it looked like it rolled off the showroom floor, I was born in 73 and thought I would never appreciate bikes from that era until I started using them,—here in Brooklyn over the years I have received MANY bikes like this–70s/80s–schwinns, Fujis, raleighs–I love em but a sad testament –all the bikes I get are usually a result of a neighborhood person passing away and other family members giving me the bike, all the young people in the 70s are now old and dying, another world gone
