• Bill’s 1985 Schwinn World Tourist HTF FFS

    This is Bill’s 1985 Schwinn World Tourist FFS in the HTF (5 speed) variety. Bill, did you align the valve stems intentionally?  If so, nice work.

    Here is a ladies 1985 Schwinn World Tourist 5 Speed with FFS and Positron. It was given to me by a neighbor. I had to clean out the cocoons from the fenders and install new tires and cables. After a thorough cleaning, it is now a smooth riding and very comfortable bike.

      Yes, I admit I lined up the valve stems. I also aligned the crankarms with the frame. Just trying to get all artsy with the photos.

      I no longer own the bike now as I have given it to a friend in need.

      I have a his and hers Schwin World Touring bike that are in excellent condition. What is the value of these and is anyone interested?

      I just bought one of these for $55 at a yard sale. I’m planning on riding it to and from work. Not sure, but I think after a cleaning, a tune up and new tires I think it will be okay.
