I have a super record I picked up. Not in bad shape. I use it all the time here in AZ

I Have a 1981 Super Record that has 1000’s of miles on it. Too special to throw away, it needs a good home.

David, I’ve got Denali, Schwinn and Raleigh Technium Road Bikes, so I hardly need another one, but send me a photo. For the right (low enough) price, I’ve got a 55 year old friend who might be interested in a good, useable road bike.
Thanks

I have a 1981 Red Raleigh super Record in good condition that I bought when I was in HS.
Just took it out in Brooklyn this week. I also have a red 1999 GT Outpost All Terra that I would like to sell that I purchased from the NBC show ED in 2000.
I would like $300 for the pair or $175 apiece.

I think I just purchased your bicycle last week

What would be the value of a mens Raleigh Super Record in excellent condition…it is early 1980’s I bought it for my husband and he barely rode it. I also have a mens Raleigh Grand Prix, 1974 it was my bike and is in good condition. I rode it all through my college years. No rust all original. Both bikes are taller frames as my husband is 6′ and I am 5’9″.
Any help would be appreciated. I want to sell these so we can buy trail bikes.

I don’t think this is a 1981 model. I bought a Supercourse 12 in 1981 and it had Barcon bar-end shifters and didn’t have the “safety” brake levers. I could be wrong.
I still have mine and upgraded it to new stuff, but I think I’m going to go back to the way it was. Maybe I’ll be 30 again if I do that!! LOL

I recently purchased a Raliegh Super Record, same red color as yours…I put new chain and tires on. Polished it up, sold for $ 300…I bought it at a tag sale for $5..the owner wanted to get rid of it.
