    Bob R,
“..deceptively fast yet comfortable and maneuverable.”
What more could a person ask for in a vintage road bike?
And purple, agreed with Cameron..I just love that color!
I’ll bet those guys with the so called “higher end bikes” refrain from giving you grief when it’s your Sears/Puch leading the pack!?
What a beauty! Old Sears bikes continue to blow me away!!

Wow what a beautiful bike, wonderful to see something both well used and well maintained and especially well loved.

Holy schnikeys! Is that original chrome? I need sunglasses to look at that shiny crank. I could look ma no hands all day with that steep fork rake! Nice ride.

That’s it! That’s the bike we’ve been waiting for! OTSG seems to be a place to enshrine the love of re-displaying what was old (vintage) for the purpose of generating a renewed interest in refurbishment. But THIS, this is different. Bob R. stoked the flame and has kept it going from day 1. Chapeau to you, sir!

Yeah, That’s it. I had the exact same bike. Purple too. Bought it used in 1972. Loved that bike, but it slowly died. I wished I had preserved mine. Thanks for bringing it back to life.

    That chrome really sparkles. =)

Bob R, I have the same bike, 1969 Sears Puch 10 speed in gold frame, from the 1969 Christmas Sears Catalog, part # 6C 47412N, $69.95 price. It is still in great shape! Steve H.
