Bret’s Fuji Gran Tourer SE

Way back in the early days of the OTSG, March 2008, we featured our first two Fuji Gran Tourers.  Finally, over seven months later, we have another Gran Tourer.  This monster, send in by Bret, is a nice addition to Ben’s and Bill’s.

Bret, I would say this bike is around a 1980 model,  It shares the same components and decal set as Ben’s 1980 with exception of its bar-end shifters and its cable-clamps instead of brazed cable guides.

Just picked this one up today, Fuji Gran Tourer SE is a 12sp. Seems to be all original components as far as I can tell. Have never had one with the shifters at the end of the handlebar tubes. Michelin 700x28c tires mounted on Rigida 700cc rims, Compe-V front derailleur, Fuji-Vx Rear, Sugino Crank. If anyone has any idea what year this bike was produced, the information would be appreciated. This is going to be my daily, as I am giving the Sekai to my son.

Thanks Bret
