Cameron/OTSG, good day to you all! Cameron, I should be praised…it’s been quite some time since I have sent in a “weird” or “controversial” bike to the beloved Gallery. (yeah me!) This little Bridgestone I found for twenty dollars, it came with a matching leather LA-Z-BOY (jk ), no fork and only a bottom bracket with two Bridgestone recessed brake calipers. It’s a little guy, scarcely short of 50 cm, but to be totally honest with you–the way that I have it set up and the geometry of the frame makes it ride more like a 52-53 cm. For the purist in biking most parts are NOT original, minus what I mentioned above. A little of this and a little of that and appropriately nicknamed Humpty-Dumpty. (Hey, it has an egg-shell/pearl paint job) I took it out for the first time a couple days ago, to and from work and the ride is very comfortable and solid; quick and responsive like only Bridgestone triple-butted 4130 can deliver. Keep up the great work honourable founder and gate keeper of the OLD TEN SPEED GALLERY, BeaterRezQ components associated with this unit: 1986 Bridgestone 600 Mavic, Sugino GP 130, Shimano light action, MKS, Ritchey, Forte, Araya **waiting on an alloy seatpost to complete the package** http://sheldonbrown.com/bridgestone/1986/pages/12-bridgestone-600.html (in it’s original glory) “…bike is a keeper, but taking offers for the cat.” B
