Year: Unknown Make: Definitely Colnago. Almost every tube has a stamp or cutout or sticker to remind you… Model: Unknown This bike made its way into my possession recently. A real fix’er up’er deemed too much work by my friend, the bikes second owner. The wheels you see in the photo were not on it when I received it, rather it had a buckled 27 ¼ rear with a regina 5 speed freewheel and 700c front. Admittedly neither wheel looked original and the rear rim was definitely too big, however the SIS shift lever only clicks in 5 positions so this bike is undoubtedly an OTS. But for those who feel the lever is not proof enough, the bottomed out seat surely must be conclusive that this is a genuine OTS. So much so that the narrowed top section of the SR-Laprade seat tube is invisible, hidden below the seat clamp. I am convinced the seat post has been there since the first owner as the corrosion has welded it in place. My intention is to put a 5 speed freewheel on that rear hub, and yes I will be keeping those Biopace rings. I can’t wait to ride it J
