Tuesday’s OTS is an OTSG first, Dane’s 1976 Schwinn Superior.

This is my 1976 Schwinn Superior I inherited from a Great-Aunt. She bought it new. I’ve installed a new Brooks saddle and a nice Campagnolo Record crankset. I have the original crankset but the Campy looks to good to take it off.

    I just purchased a used ’76 Superior and the rear derailer or the gear set is not original. Could you let me know what the correct, rear derailer/gearset is for that model so I can restore mine like yours?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    I have one of these I bought new. Bet it has less than 30 miles on it. I did change the seat but that is all. It just hangs in my garage. I would like to like to ride it again sometime but think I am a little too old and fat now…..
