A little bit about it:
It is a 74′ Varsity that I built up for my son. Had the frame stripped and powdercoated vermillion orange. Rebuilt with modern components: Alex D22 Wheelset w/ Kenda tires, Alloy triple crankset w/ sealed BB (required a BB adapter), Shimano thumb shifters w/ Tourney derailleurs. Tektro sidepull brakes,Vintage alloy bars with areo levers. Also added top bar levers. Sella Italia Junior saddle. New frame decals. This was my son’s 9th B-day present and he loves.

    Where did you get your decal set, it’s those little details that make the project

    Dave F, gotta agree with the Doc–Beautiful restoration and nicely done; new life into an old classic.
    The old Varsitys, though a bit heavy have a very smooth ride. So glad when someone sees beyond just an old heavy bike and is able to modernize a classic into a very capable commuter, etc. Great Job, BRQ
