Thanks to Dave M. for sending in what is now the oldest Schwinn Varsity in the OTSG—a 1965.

A friend gave me this old Schwinn . It hung in his garage, unridden, for decades. I pumped up the tires and rode it a few miles, then took it home and stripped it down to the frame. A long evening of cleaning, polishing and greasing, two new tires and some cables and it was on the road again. I included a picture of a 1967 Schwinn Fair Lady, found it hanging in a barn and swapped an old Schwinn Suburban for it. Rebuilt it for my granddaughter. She and I can ride around town on our 40+ year old purple bikes—until she finds it embarrassing. Thanks again Dave M
