Dave M. is back with another nice obscure OTS from his stable.  This is a Catco Panther, beyond that, I don’t know much (not a surprise).  Perhaps this Catco came from a now defunct auto parts or hardware store chain.  Catco the bike may be hard to find, but other Catcos are everywhere and comprised of all sectors, from the arts to automotive.

All these CATCOs and no CATCO Bicycles International?

I found this bike in a pile of scrap metal.  Replaced the broken bits from my bins of recycled parts.  Cleaned it, greased it and gave it to a neighbor kid,who now rides it everywhere. Don’t know when it was made, but it’s classic old ten speed, cottered cranks, center pull brakes, stem shifters and a big old chrome pie plate.  Keep up the good work. 10 speeds forever! Dave M
