Dick’s Ross and Peugeot

Today is a twofer from Dick in North Carolina. A Ross and a Peugeot.

I started restoring OTSs when I retired in 2001. Now do one or two a week other than cold weather, (I work outside). I keep saying “just one more bike” but can’t stop.

Past weekend was about the last of the yard sale season here but got a couple OTS bikes including this Peugeot with Carbolite frame. Must be one of the last French models with cotterless crank and Shimano gears. Looked almost to have a coat of Cosmoline, (or crud) but washed up really nice.

Thanks Dick

Nothing against the Frenchman, but I dig the Ross; is that a Gran Sport by any chance?

Hey I have the same Ross bike but not the original seatpost I was wondering what size the seat post is? Having the seat slide down while I ride is getting really annoying.
