    i need info on this bike. long wheel base 42 and one half inch sn d13240 has internal wiring. i have this set up temporarily to see if i like the ride, I LIKE. I looked in my junk box and found a set of new old stock mavic alum cantilevers i will be brassing on. On the left rear ss is a rectange that says HEBIE II TRUMPF I THINK this is for a generator mount if so i need one if anyone has one.

      Really great looking bike! A classic French sports Tourer, just lacks chromed fenders for the perfect look.
      PLEASE don’t braze on Cantilevers! What’s wrong with the classic Calipers?

      I don`t know anything about the bike. But it looks like it has great potential.I love the paint. I think some natural colored cork handlebar-tape would go good with the paint and saddle.I have to agree with Mart, I think some old style caliper brakes would look more authentic.
      You gotta send in some pics of the finished bike. I would love to see what this “Diamond in the rough” looks like all cleaned -up! Cheers
