Today’s OTS, a 1987 Panasonic Sport-500, sent in by Duncan has been beautifully rehabilitated and looks like he just rolled it out of the LBS. This thing reminds me of the Jack Tripper Special from a while back. Great looking bike Duncan, but remember to include at least one shot of the drive side, so we can see the bling.

My dad picked up this 1987 Panasonic Sport-500 for me at a yard sale last October for free (broken chain). After several hours of scrubbing, chrome polish, waxing, adjusting brakes/headset/shifters, and throwing on a new chain ($18 at LBS… ouch!), I have a like-new ride. Original tubes hold air perfectly! Ideal bike for my 6-mile commute.
