It’s Friday and I’ve got six Schwinns to post this weekend! I better get busy. This is Ed H.’s 1982 Schwinn Continental.

I pick up this bike for $40, everything appears to be original and the ride is great. This is the condition I bought it today, I plan on cleaning it up and performing some maintenance but that really cuts into the riding time. So far the only thing it needed was a new cable for the chain ring shifter, done in less than 10 minutes. I have read others stating how good these ride and it is the truth!

    A well rebuilt Chicago Schwinn will out last just about anything built today. Nice find!

    Due to a flat on my winter beater (Huffy LeGrande) and dry pavement this baby will see it’s first ride of 2010 tomorrow!

    She has hung from the garage ceiling too long!
