Name: Eric K. Year: Unknown Make: Fuji Model: Gran Tourer I bought this Fuji as my first old ten speed (as an adult). I had been riding mountain bikes for a while and mixed up the frame size with the wheel size. Needles to say it was way too small for me but I had driven so far I bought it anyway ($75). It was apparent that it was very clean and probably all original. The seller had gotten it in trade for some work he had done because the person did not have any cash so he did not know any history and just wanted to get the money he was owed out of it. The bike actually fit my daughter perfectly but she liked the newer one we had bought her the previous year (rats!). I don’t think I realized until later how nice it was because I was just getting into it. I had to sell it to someone either short or young and the college age fellow that bought it mentioned something about making it a single speed. By that point I had done some reading (on this site mostly) and compelled him to please not cut this one up since it was so clean and original. I should have kept it as an art piece for the living room. Since then I found a nice Fuji (in my size) that my son is using, and I am working on a 1979 Ross Gran Tour II that I found in a pile of trash in front of a neighbors house. When I look at these pictures I still marvel at how nice it was. Thanks for a great website.
