This might be the best Friday entry to date. This is by far my favorite Schwinn even over the Paramount models (I think).
This is Erik D’s 1973 Schwinn World Voyageur
1973 Schwinn World Voyageur Japanese made Schwinn, manufactured in March 1972 for the 1973 Schwinn model year. First Out Sourced Schwinn The frame was made by Panasonic for the Schwinn Company The bike is ALL original, down to the Bar tape The only reconditioning this bicycle has received has been new Michelin World Tour 27×1 1/4 tires, new tubes and rim tape, new cables, new Gray Matter brake pads. The period correct Belt Leather saddle is Japanese mad. It’s a wonderful saddle; I use them on my other 2 1973 World Voyageurs. The frame has a few minor scratches that have been touched up.
