Closing out our Asian interlude and helping us celebrate our beloved Labor Day (albeit a day late) is Grant H.’s 1981 Fuji Newest.  Sure, you thought Ric’s $100 Univega last week was a steal. Well, leave it to the Canadians to show us up again! Grant picked this angel up for $24.50 CD ($22.664 USD as of 11:36pm +5GMT 09/08/09). D’OH!

I found this beautiful bike as photographed at a garage sale that I was initially going to skip because it was a few blocks out of the way.

This model was Fuji’s second from the top(except for custom orders)for 1981.
All there, all original, essentially brand new condition. Although they’re not pictured the toeclips are there, brand new in a bag.

Over the years I’ve gone to thousands of sales and purchased hundreds of bikes. I can truly say that finding this Fuji was the most knee wobbling experience so far.
