    Very nice work, Hugh. I’m bidding on a Raleigh Marathon frame at this very moment with visions of grandeur concerning what it might become. Thanks for the inspiration. Where in southeast Michigan are you, if you don’t mind me asking? I’ll be relocating to Adrian sometime in the coming months. Cheers.

    Just picked one of these up toady. Gave the guy $50 for it. I just finished stripping it down to the frame. Mine is going to become a single conversion. Nice bike. I have the orginal components off it if anyone is looking. All Suntour.

    I did not mention it at the time. But my brother got hit by a car on this bike. Fortunately he was not seriously hurt. That is why it got the new wheel-set.
    The bars and pedals also had to be replaced along with the saddle. As I accessed the damage I realized
    how lucky we were that the bike took most of the impact.
