Great job Jackie! If this is your first restoration, can’t wait for the next one! Oh yes, there will be another, or two, or three. It’s addictive, you see. Love that head-badge!

Jackie L., your old Royce brings back many fond memories of a similar one that I had briefly. It was a little newer, from the 1976 bi-centennial era, with foil decals and completely chromed. I was in the process of fully restoring it only to find that it had a small, nearly unnoticeable crack on bottom side of frame. Like yours it was made in Japan, but had a different style of headbadge. Yours is beautiful and I really like the pieplate/spoke protector, very classy. I am altogether thrilled that you chose the route of restoration rather than discarding what was/is a nice vintage ride. Nice job!
