Jack’s Schwinn Suburban waits patiently outside of a local tattoo parlor, while inside, Jack is getting the finishing touches on a clever bicycling related tattoo.
Introducing an old Schwinn Suburban 10-speed from the late 1970s or early 1980s. This bike has a unique feature, something called a front freewheel. The front chainrings spin even when you’re not pedaling. This allows the bike to shift gears when you’re coasting. Apparently the bike industry thought people were too stupid to remember to pedal while shifting, so this solved that problem.
