I saved this vintage ten speed from the local scrap metal business. Someone thought it was worthless and had tossed it in the pile of scrap. I managed to luckily be there before the crusher got to it. This is how i found it. All it needs is to have the weeds removed from the sprocket and chain, a pair of new tires and tubes and likely a new chain (although a good bath in penetrant has freed up the sticky links so it might just run the way it is…?). Anyway the wheels are straight and true, the brakes and derailleurs work. Incredible how good this little vintage ride is, having clearly sat outside somewhere for years. I’m not sure what i’m going to do with it, but I do know that it’ll roll again, and not be crushed. I’m open to offers if anyone’s interested.
