Always good to save a bike from the crusher -that’s some good bike karma right there

    Jaxson P.,
Beautiful lugs on a delicious banana-yellow frame…..for free, You Lucky Dog!
Agreed with Cameron, that rack looks like it should be behind a banana seat/sissy bar combo; very interesting and sturdy-looking too!
What I can tell by the one picture that you submitted, looks like the paint/decals are in great shape…what say you?
That bike would look great parked right next to my “Pedros Racer” but the Little Lady would probably park all three of us out the back door 🙁

Nice find! I suspect that rack might have been the support for one of those molded child carriers. I took one off a bike recently that was very similar. That is a beautiful
bike I hope someone restores it.

      Doc,
I was thinking the same because of the cottered crank, steel pedals, high flange hubs. But I know for a fact that same exact seat I removed off a bike from the 88-90’s, Vetta and hard as a rock. (assuming seat is original)
But seriously, with only one picture–I don’t really know??

front rim looks like steel, while the rear has a quick release & is not a high flange & looks to be aluminum + look at the stem design that saddle is not original

here is a 1972 orions sport racer all original

So much clearer with the zoom in/out function. That saddle on your picture looks more like it came off of a 70’s bike. Your pic has bike with stem shifters as opposed to down tube shifters on yellow bike…interesting.
