This is Julie’s ’72 Nishiki post rehab.

How ’bout an after work bonus post? This 1972 (Nishiki) (American Eagle) (International) is courtesy of (Julie S). If you a hammer head, then this is the OTS for you. This baby sports a monster TT 54t ring in the front! Of course that doesn’t mean much with a 14-34 in the rear. HA! (But then again, what about the 27’rs, I guess I’ll just have to reference Sheldon’s handy-dandy gear calculator!)
1972 Nishiki (International?) Suntour equipped-but shimano hubs.
Surprised at the amount of alloy on such an old bike. (bars-seatpost-crank and QR high flange wheels) Crank code dates it to 1972; could find no codes on anything else! Sticker for American eagle; so maybe a transition model. Generic looking cro molly sticker also. Replaced some rusted components-road worthy again. Oh, gearing is a whopping 54/48 14-18-22-27-34.
Thanks, Julie S. from OKC
Thanks again Julie
