• Julie S’s 1985 Torpado Beta and Peugeot P6

Julie S is back, and just when you thought she couldn’t possibly drop a seat any lower!  Here is her nicely outfited OTSG First, Torpado Beta followed by an FNC’d Peugeot P6.

    1985 Torpado Beta

An 80′s ‘miami vice’ color scheme. Very sweet and responsive ride. With the seat post buried/it fits fine-even though it is a 56 cm. Summer is upon us; time to ride!

Actually she is now an 8 1/2. Wheels-crank-and brake lever were trashed. Resuscitated with araya and weinmann wheels/Nervar crank/and the infamous F&C arrangement. Good to go-and yes she stops with the one brake.
    Cheers,
    Julie s.

For the 1985 Torpado…where’s the matching pink flamingo lawn ornaments? I’m sorry – couldn’t help myself. :)

That Torpado really needs a red seat.

Warm fuzzy. Someone used the infamous properly.

Nothing gathers dust around here. The bars/stem evers and brake calipers found a new home on a 70′s Mercier 300-(a keeper-my size) The frame/crank and headset went to a young man with a vision. The wheels went to a cool beater bianchi. Someday I’ll quit playing with these things. “Warm and fuzzy” eludes me. Art says different things to different people. Sie le vie; and mercy buckets for the input. :)
