A little bit about it: I found this on craigslist a few weeks ago. The ad just said something like old ten speed with alloy rims, not ridden much. It looked pretty decent in the one small picture included in the ad, so I thought I’d at least take a look. The guy who was selling it said he’d bought it used off of craigslist himself a few years ago but never really rode it much. He had since bought himself a new “hybrid.” To him it was just an old bike. This bike is all original, right down to the tires. Not ridden much was quite the understatement – the tread is hardly worn. The drivetrain looks as clean as the day it rolled out of Martin’s Bike Shop. It took me less than half an hour with nothing more than a soft rag to make it shine the way it does. It was a little dusty. There are a couple of tiny chips in the paint, but otherwise this $60 bike could be a new one that got stuck in a corner back in 1986 and forgotten.
Thanks Keith
