Old Ten Speed Gallery

I've long suspected that New York City's seemingly endless supply of overpriced "vintage" bicycles comes from vast crappy bike reserves in the Midwest... BikeSnobNYC

Laura B’s Huffy Santa Fe

Posted September 25, 2010

If it’s not locked, and has never been moved; I say ride it, they’re not. And while your at it, you should lay claim to that sweet sailboat painting too.

This old Huffy Santa Fe sits in the dark old basement of my apartment building, accumulating more and more dust and dryer lint every day. If memory serves me right, it’s been sitting right in that spot since I moved in almost a year ago, and it’s probably been there even longer. I am terribly tempted to rescue it from its resting spot next to the dryer and take it for a spin!

Laura B, in Chicago

Thanks Laura
