Check out Liz W’s ’79 Schwinn Le Tour, in all its frosty silvery glory basking in the glow of sunset. Nice way to finish the week and freewheel us right into the holiday weekend. See you all Monday.
I bought this 1979 frosty silver Schwinn LeTour mixte November 09. The bike is near mint – had been hanging in a garage for years. I was the first to contact the buyer and drove from to Altanta to get it. It’s all original. The axels and bottom bracket was lubed, the chain and rear derraileur cleaned. The tires were good. Push this bike by the seat and it rolls straight as an arrow. It was no bargain bike but my local bike shop said the price was good.
