Mitch P.’s 1987 Schwinn Prologue TT

With all the talk around here lately of the merits of upright bars and the pairing of touring seats with drop bars and touring bars with racing seats,  I thought I’d put the “ortho” back in unorthodox.

This is Mitch P.‘s 1987 Schwinn Prologue TT, and for today—the 4th of July and the opening prologue of the 96th Tour de France—nothing could be more appropriate.

Have a happy and safe 4th of July! Viva Le Tour!

I’ve got an OTSG T-Shirt for the first person who sends me a picture of a Prologue TT like this one with a springer touring saddle and a set of ape hangers. (no photochops allowed)
