Natanael’s 1986 Calio 10 & Aquela Antiga Bicicleta

I am delighted to hear that OTSG is such an inspiration that Natanael has created his own Brazilian version.  Everyone please give a big old ten speed welcome to Aquela Antiga Bicicleta.  If you prefer your 10-speed serenade in Portuguese instead English please pay him visit and even if you don’t, pay him a visit anyway.  Click here for fairly good translation to English via Google.

As for his bike: This is his 1986 Caloi 10.  Caloi is a Brazilian bicycle manufacturer founded in 1898 by Italian immigrant, Luigi Caloi.   From the looks of it, Caloi no longer offers road bikes in their line, but according to tears for gears, they had had a deal supplying rebadged Eddy Merckx frames for Lotto back in the early 90s.  Any additional information is always welcome.

Hi! My name is Natanael and inspired on your site, I decided to make a little Brazilian version of OTSG called Aquela Antiga Bicicleta (That Old Bike). This Old Ten is mine and it was rescued in 1999.
