Paul S.’s 1977 Schwinn Suburban

Paul S.–from my old haunt, Kansas City–has sent his 1977 Schwinn Suburban FFS.  I thought these FFS bikes were suppose to be rare?  We’re assembling a nice collection so far, three of which are late 70s Blue Schwinn Suburbans.  This Suburban wins the award for best accessorization this month with its impressive Wald double basket and protruding headlight.

1977 Suburban 10 Speed Shimano 400 Derailleurs, FE Intiger “Front Freewheel” 27×1 1/8 75psi tires, Capri Speedo, CWC Italy NOS headlight, Wald double rear basket. Grabbed this one and the “hers” twin at a garage sale and gave to my sister. Both have their 1977 Topeka KS bicycle license still on the seat tubes.
