Peter D is at it again, this time it’s a mid-80s Schwinn World Sport.

Hi,

I have another bike that I decided to restore off the frame or transform if anybody prefers. This is 1980’s Schwinn World Sport. I decided to strip the frame and I put the 3 stage white paint on it. I have replaced all the cables, tires, handle bar tape, brake levers and added the color matched Jamis bike seat. I wanted to achieve the bike that looks really clean that is why only white and black paint are used. By the way the bike rides great!

    The consistent touches of contrast, not limited to the black fork and white frame, is simple and effective.
    Thanks for deciding to achieve a clean look without copying the unfortunate, excessive, sadly-common, multicolor-anodized/powdercoated fg/ss mutant “inspirations”.

    Really nice World Sport Peter, I just purchased an 87 last week, and will begin restoration. This is probably a noob question, but where did you get the cables from in this resto.
