Today we’re continuing with the mixte theme, and I’d like to take the opportunity to remind everyone to go check out Doohickie’s new digs–it’s all mixte, all the time.
08/20 Note: Incidentally, I just received word from Doohickie that my very own mixte is featured today.
This easy ridin’ bluebird, Peugeot P10, was sent in by friend of the Gallery Pop Richmond.
Summer is here and while that means more people out riding their bikes, it also apparently means more people are throwing them away. About a week after finding an old Raleigh three speed in the trash I came across this really nice Peugeot. Everything was in good working order, so aside from new tubes, tires, and cleaning up some corrosion, it made for a cheap birthday present for my sister. She works at a zoo, so I put added animals to the valve caps.
It’s a Peugeot P10 mixte, a 1980 judging by the date code on the rear derailler. Everything seems to be original except for the tires + tubes and the Schwinn grips.
Thanks Pop
