Since this is a short week for me, I thought I’d bring the “crappy” back. But then again, as a wise man once said, “Crappy is in the eye of the beholder…”—Err, something like that. This is Raf K.’s Roadmaster Scorcher.
Here is my Roadmaster Scorcher. I realize that Roadmaster is a low-end brand and many would not recommend investing my money in it but I have to tell you, this one is working great! I bought it at a local thrift store for around $35 and invested another $10 in a new freewheel soon after. The white-going-into-red handlebar tape is a original 1980’s tape that I have found on eBay. I’ve also acquired some fenders since I ride the bike everyday. The vintage brown seat is from my previous Ross. Old-school style lamps with a generator came from Amazon.com, and the rack came from some other bike. My Roadmaster is a great
commuter bike, I ride it everyday despite of rain or darkness and enjoy every minute of it!
Thanks Raf
