Robert P., can’t go wrong with an old Fuji…CL, yard sale–wherever!
I especially like the curves on those old lugs. You did a nice job rehabbing that old bike, like the setup.

I don’t know what it is about those old Fuji’s but they resonate. Robert, I an highly pleased to see your obvious joy in your adoption. I don’t know what Fuji means in Japanese (except Volcano), but ride it, brother, ride it and enjoy.

Beater, me brother, I am blind-ordering a new bottom bracket for my ’81 Super Le Tour at 68×113 and since I have only recently re-entered the workplace I am heart-sick and down-trodden each night and typing this message is wearing me out. Do you think that’s right? I am getting the Park BB22 in the same order. Doc?

meanwhile…Everybody give a shout out for Roadie Ryan’s Birthday! It is around here somewhere.

TPC, 68mm I’m sure is right for that fine Le Tour, the 113 I’m not 100% sure. A little online research should confirm that. Perhaps the good Doc knows? Also, if you don’t want to go new, I might have a few laying around–all for the price of a smile and a firm handshake.

Robert very nice Fuji, it looks like its in great shape and you did a quality job on the rebuild- enjoy that fine Japanese machine! I have a Fuji Royale that I am just starting to tear down, hope to have it up on OTSG someday soon.

Ryan, mine’s right around the corner also. I keep telling folks that all the important ones were born in July….Enjoy your day!

Thanks everyone for these comments, it was a pleasure to rebuild and it’s nice to know there are people that appreciate older bikes out there! I’ve actually put some Weinmann levers took the pie plate off and have gone 600 miles on it since submitting this. Absolutely love it!
