Love the color Ross- nice find. Your lock comment reminds me of an “Ah ha” moment I had with an old 3 speed. It too had a nasty lock wrapped around the seat post, as I was prepared to go at with a hacksaw to get it off my Neighbor causally said “why not just remove the saddle and see post…” After a forehead slap I sheepishly returned my hacksaw to the garage, returned with a wrench and had the lock off in short order.

Yeah, Ryan, but hacksaws are soooo much fun…

OK, I’ve got to go off on a rant about bicycle pictures in front of busy backgrounds (like woodpiles). Please flatter your bike by taking it out into the middle of an open lawn or even a paved area to show off the bike to its best advantage.

Darrell, I’ll take a Vermont woodpile shot over a indoors in front of the couch shot any day! 🙂

Looks like someone is ready for winter. Nice bike! Panasonic is one of those brands that continues to elude me. I hope to run across one someday. Congrats on the great find! At least you didn`t photograph the bike in front of your garage door facing in the wrong direction. As far as pics go, I have seen (and taken) much worse. Cheers

Many Panasonic owners won’t part with them!

It is in very nice shape. It is actually a 1986 model however.
