This was the first bike I restored that was set up this way. It was slightly different to set up but once I got it, it really does work well. The young lady I did this for rides it regularly and has yet to experience any issues with it, and it's almost a year since I did this bike over. Glad I could bring back some good memories for you! Though I hear people these days say bad things about Positron, for me that bike always worked great. I rode it a lot (right up until I got my driver's license). I prefer happy, and the weight of this seat was countered by the new lightweight bars...the originals were heavy and almost rusted through....
