Stephen S.’s 1974 Motobecane Grand Jubile (France)

Posted June 3, 2009

Initially, when I was doling out themes, I wanted to have a whole week devoted to France. However, at the time I didn’t think I had enough to fill a week+, so I threw the French in with the rest of the world. (Beaucoup á leur chagrin.) As it turns out, I have much more Frenchness laying around here than I thought.  So, to appease our friends with the smelly cheese, the next few days will reek of Époisses de Bourgogne.  Welcome to International Week(s) -> Sub-theme: France.

This is Stephen S.‘s one owner 1974 Motobecane Grand Jubile.

I purchased this Moto new in 1974 during my college days. I have raced it, toured with it, hauled kids on it & still ride it. Although I have another daily bike, the Moto is still a great ride and is original in all respects.

Thanks Stephen
