Tammy Welcome! Love the light blue accents – saddle, bar wrap and tires on this bike. For a good place to start for all things old bike, and gears in particular, check out http://sheldonbrown.com/gears.html by the late great Sheldon Brown. His site is a a cornucopia of bike knowledge. Good luck with your Huffy project

      Thanks, I’ll check it out.

    Tammy,
I think here at this site you will always find an admirer/fan to all things biking in general. (Cameron/OTS make all feel welcomed here, high-end to low-end and everything in between)
I can find something good in all bikes; especially the old, odd and funky.
I have somewhat of an obsession with off-the-wall tires, and those blue gum walled beauties on your Huffy are no exception–simply Marvelous.
That huge front reflector that looks like it came off of a Studebaker–awesome.

Finally, some sweet, department store bling-idity. I hope you enjoy riding it as much as I enjoyed seeing it. Thanks!

Well you can teach an old dog new tricks, but this has always been a challenge for me… My son loves riding his bike and its a great activity we get to do when I feel brave 🙂

Those blue gum-walls look pretty fancy for original equipment but they do match the saddle and bar tape. I think I’m developing a case of tire envy…

    What is the tire size?
