Tom’s Mid 70s Raleigh Grand Prix

A perfect 10-speed to start the long (for some) weekend.  Tom’s Raleigh Grand Prix in full regalia.  Tom, I better not see you ride this baby in anything but tweed knickers and blazer, a long white scarf and a pair of old-timey pilot’s goggles.

Pretty much as found at a secondhand shop in Toronto. Just changed the tires and added Bluemels fenders. Cateye front lamp is super bright. Comfy old Wrights saddle.

    Beautiful example of the Raleigh Grand Prix. This was the first 10 speed I bought back in 1976. I still have the bike. The paint job has been affected by the salt air from storing it a the beach house near the sea. Pumped up the tyres and had a ride a few weeks ago. (Must adjust the rear deraileur)
