I’ve got time for one more post today, so why not another Le Tour. This is Tyler L’s ’87 Le Tour complete with triple chainring crank, fenders, rack and a proven touring resume.

1987 Schwinn Le Tour

I got this bike last, bitty cold, January in a shop on Chicago’s north side. Everything was stock when I bought it unti I added fenders, a rack, and a nice Brooks saddle. It even came with threads for a third chainring (they weren’t kidding when they marketed it as a touring bike). I’ve toured it through the mountains of Kentucky, Tennessee and a wee bit of North Carolina without any problems at all. I’ve just taken it apart to clean and re-grease all the moving parts, and we’ll surely be heading out to Colorado come next summer! Keep up the good work on the gallery!
